A big impression

I chose this commercial because the first time I saw it, it made an impression on me. Not only did it make me laugh, but I was impressed by its originality. This commercial initially seems to portray a frightening scene in a parking garage, but before long the audience becomes aware that it is a parody of identity theft. Identity theft is a major epidemic right now, and it’s on a lot of people’s minds, so I thought it was a good strategy to incorporate it into a commercial that will first catch people’s attention and then stick in their minds. Not only is it creative, but it’s unique. Most car commercials are the same, and none of them are very eye-catching. This commercial separates Audi from its competitors in terms of originality, and I think that’s an important part of advertising.

I like this ad. Audi uses comparison to show audience that this brand is unique.
